Le congrès Contaminated Site Management in Europe - Sustainable Approaches to Remediation of Contaminated Land in Europe (CSME - SARCLE), organisé par le Laboratoire réactions et génie des procédés (LRGP) et le Groupement d'intérêt scientifique sur les friches industrielles (GISFI), se déroule dans les locaux de l'École nationale supérieure des industries chimiques, à Nancy, du 22 au 24 octobre 2012.

Thématique du congrès

Ce congrès s'inscrit dans la lignée des congrès CSME-SARCLE organisés chaque année fin octobre, les précédents ont eu lieu à Gand (Belgique) et à Amsterdam (Pays-Bas). Ce congrès permet de faire le point sur les connaissances relatives à la dépollution et la réhabilitation des sites contaminés par des polluants organiques et/ou inorganiques. Les thèmes concernent :

  • la compréhension de la migration des polluants dans les sols et des nappes,
  • la dépollution par des méthodes physico-chimiques et/ou biologiques des sols et des aquifères (de l'échelle du laboratoire à celle du site),
  • les stratégies pour gérer la dépollution et la réhabilitation, y compris les aspects réglementaires et économiques,
  • l'aspect "durable" de la décontamination incluant la mesure de la durabilité et des impacts et les technologies vertes
  • des études de cas de réhabilitation de sites
